Charity Work

At Bodi Clinic, we want to help as many individuals/families as we can to improve their wellbeing(s).
Over the past years, we have hosted or funded numerous charity events that have helped groups of
people to overcome obstacles. Our aim is to help anyone is society, whether that is other people or
animals. Check out the things we have done over the years:

Homeopathy free medical camp

(July – December 2022)

Due to the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka, we have started a homeopathic medical camp, collaborating with local practitioners where people can go and get treatment for free. We have partnered with the Sri Lankan Homeopathy Medical Council to provide medical assistance to the needy. The project is fully funded by us. This camp also helps to promote homeopathy across the island and brings recognition to the homeopaths.

Walk for autism

(March – April 2022)

Over 3800 wonderful walkers stepped up to the challenge of walk for autism 2022 and together we raised an incredible £406,917 and they totalled over 211.6 million steps. We are proud to be a part of this. The funds go to a national charity providing specialist autism services in the UK and Ireland.

Feeding dogs

(2022)

Just like people in Sri Lanka got affected by the economic crisis, so did the animals. As the local charities were unable to provide support to these animals due to the lack of finance, we stepped in to give food to around 500 stray dogs across the country.

Support during Covid -19

(2021)

Provided dry food packages to around 250 families from different communities who were secondarily affected by the Covid – 19 pandemic.

Funded for toilet project

(2021)

We funded to a local school in Vellore, India to build toilet
facilities and to provide sanitary napkins as the students were struggling with basic necessities.

Provided school shoes

(2020)

We supplied school shoes to under privileged children from Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka.

Clothing project

(2020)

Collected clothing from across the UK

Funds for a library

(2020)

We provided financial support to a couple of libraries in Hatton and Pussellawa (Sri Lanka) to buy books.

Water for horses

(2019)

The summer months of 2019 were particularly hot in Sri Lanka, resulting in extreme drought. With little to no rain, many horses began to suffer and some, unfortunately, died due to the severe conditions. So, we decided to step in and funded a 3-month project to provide water for the horses. It was a success, allowing the horses to have a supply of safe drinking water until rain began to fall.

Funds for computers

(2019)

We funded and bought laptops for the Noologham team in Sri Lanka to allow them to store all their data.
