Hello readers! Deforestation and pollution are the most horrific words which affects nature. Nature is considered as god by many and we have to protect it at all costs. A healthy nature purifies our air, cleans our water, maintains our soil and regulates climates. Nature sacrifices itself to satisfy human needs, but we human beings hurt nature by all these horrific activities like deforestation.
Deforestation refers to the decrease of forest areas because of human activities like agricultural croplands, urbanization, or mining activities. In simple words, cutting down excess trees for human needs like building construction, wood extraction etc.
These activities affect nature , biodiversity and the climate negatively. Deforestation is not only because of human activities it also happens because of natural destruction like forest fires and storms.
Pollution is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment. These harmful materials are called pollutants. Pollutants create a negative impact on nature. Pollution occurs due to some harmful activities done by human beings like burning and using plastics, runoff produced by factories and harmful gases emitted from vehicles. Like deforestation pollution is also caused by natural destruction like volcanic explosions. Pollution totally destroys the air water soil as well as our health.
Deforestation and pollution are caused by humans because of their selfishness. Polluting environment will never give us benefits, it may seem like it’s beneficial but it is actually killing the planet and the living things day by day. Deforestation affects this world in many ways; they reduce rainfall, result in soil erosion and destroy the shelter for a lot of animals.
We can protect nature in different ways:
- If you cut one tree, try to plant two.
- Reduce the usage of plastics, and make use of the process called recycling.
- Avoid using vehicles for small distance travelling.
- Using eco-friendly products instead of plastics.
“Environment is no one’s property to destroy;
It’s every one’s responsibility to protect.”
- Mohith Agadi
Nature helps us to survive. In return we have to pay our gratitude by protecting them.
